Our goals

  • Our mission is to improve access to support for young people facing challenges and isolation. Our online chat / help line is free, confidential, and anonymous for youth in Canada.

  • Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Community is Medicine helps cover the cost of counselling sessions when those services aren’t covered by insurance and young people face barriers to accessing professional support. You can donate to contribute to this fund here

  • At Community is Medicine, we want to create meaningful content, host live events like webinars, and offer accessible online learning experiences — all centered around promoting well-being and connection.

  • We don’t just train our volunteers, we also empower teams outside our organization to listen with empathy, respond thoughtfully, and create safe spaces for collaboration and support. Let’s continue building the skills that strengthen our communities. If you’re interested in joining our training, reach out to us today!

  • We collaborate with other professionals and organizations to create a stronger, healthier communities. We believe in the power of connection, meaningful conversations, and shared learning. Come join us and be part of something bigger!
